“Fun, funky and high-octane”

- Aaron Kavanagh, PostBurnout.com

Dublin-based AZURE (Sam Jones, Seán Woods, Evanael, Devin Hanson, and Sam Parcon) emerged into the college alternative music scene in late 2023. Originally starting as a few friends playing music, the band found themselves striving for more. Taking from the group’s various influences, ranging from the rock and indie sounds of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Arctic Monkeys, to mellow reggae, to pop and disco, the band’s discography contains a track for everyone to enjoy.

The band’s debut EP, Casa Del Dáil, was released in April 2024, containing fan-favourite tracks, such as singles Leave It Out and Getaway, as well as new tracks Soul Stricken Misfit Black and She, showcasing “a wisdom in arranging and playing beyond their years”, according to Rohan Healy of Beardfire Music. Their 2025 followup EP, The Girl from the Posters demonstrates the band’s ability to fuse genres, with the funk-infused Sick City, the fast-paced cowpunk of Sheriff Street, metal-inspired Brain Dead, and the Power Ballad Put me Out / Where we Are.

Following a brief hiatus, AZURE returned in 2026 with the upcoming release of their single Undertaker, off their debut album. Set in the emotional limbo after a breakup, the song portrays being caught between acceptance and despair, screaming unheard while time drags on. Themes of self-blame and rejected connection underscore the hard-hitting intensity of the piece. Undertaker is available on all streaming platforms February 13th, 2026.
